The Client

Brand new internet service provider starting their brand and customer experience from scratch.

Solution Provided

We collaborated with the internal sales team to build the brand, website, and print collateral to launch in their first market before expanding to additional markets in the region. Once the launch was complete our role focused on ongoing digital advertising efforts, ongoing development for an evolving website supporting different geographic regions and customer types, and designing complementary print materials for local media and initiatives in the community.

We designed a personalized dashboard to highlight each member’s plan benefits, which was then directly integrated within the individual’s online account experience. Critical requirements and considerations included:

  • Scalable, responsive design with a mixture of static and variable content
  • Intuitive interface to help navigate complex healthcare plan offerings
  • High-level overviews that link to full resources in a secure member portal
  • Content applicable to all members of the plan, including children
  • Twenty-two variations in a templated format with links to existing content
  • Promotional areas to highlight existing programs, such as free preventive care and healthy living reward programs
  • Content designed and developed with printed exports in mind so that patients and caretakers could reference content offline and during appointments with care providers

This refresh included both a new portfolio for the core development company and a new design for one of its latest projects: a village made for walking with trails, tree-lined streets and beautifully designed parks along with a playground, swimming pool, and athletic field among its 395 homes, with more than 57 acres of open space.

Retailer with clothing made in Los Angeles that offers everyday essentials with endless ways to wear, high quality fabrics, and unique textures.

Solution Provided

This brand had experienced significant growth, and their existing Magento platform wasn’t reliable or agile enough to meet their needs. The efforts to migrate the backend of the shop to Shopify were paired with a rebrand that included the reveal of a new logo, typography, photography, and more. The new platform and shopping experience included:

  • Shopify theme development and branding implementation
  • SEO management, including managing redirects to the new domain that was part of the rebranding implementation
  • Redesigned and simplified lookbooks to allow fullscreen photography to speak for itself
  • Addition of custom monogram option for applicable products
  • Custom meta fields to provide customers with extra context when necessary

The Client

One of only seven authorized distributors for the United States Mint for silver, gold, platinum, and palladium. Includes operations for both wholesale and retail customers.

Solution Provided

Phase one of this project was launching a new website for each of the wholesale and retail sides of the business. The wholesale version of the website was designed, rebuilt and launched before serving as the framework for the retail website. While there were shared resources in the back end of the website, each site was uniquely branded to help differentiate the two websites from one another. Features of these websites include:

  • Message upon initial entry to website to confirm customer type (wholesale versus retail)
  • Live updating market rates for various precious metal types
  • In-depth pricing sheets for both purchasing and selling precious metals
  • Automated processing and updating of retail price sheet based on wholesale inputs

Following those launches we were tasked with increasing the efficiency of the company’s service that allows customers to sell and ship gold, silver, and platinum scrap precious metals. We replaced the requirement for customers to make a phone call to request a shipping label with a self-service option, with critical safety mechanisms in place. The new process allowed authorized customers to:

  • Log into their personal account
  • Enter the applicable customer code and order number to verify the order
  • Select their preferred shipping carrier based on current availability
  • Submit the dimensions and weight of the package for that order
  • Immediately generate a label to print, which includes a shipping speed and service based on the custom rules this platform has set

Customers are also emailed a link to their shipping label, can view their entire shipping history within their private account dashboard, and may request additional shipping supplies.
